Tasks

Public services performance, cost optimization, digitalization, social and environmental impact, the need for flexibility and responsiveness, etc.

It is in this challenging context - involving reforms and political requirements - that our team contributes to the definition and implementation of public policies by responding to their specific challenges.


As part of our strategy to strengthen our local presence in Western Switzerland, you will be part of our Geneva multi-disciplinary team, with the objective to become the trusted advisor of our local public clients in their major transformations.

Joining the BearingPoint Government & Public Sector team means participating in high value-added projects of a strategic and organizational nature such as:

  • Support for reforms: cost cutting, public performance, etc.
  • User relationship management: "government as a platform"
  • Digital transformation, implementation of technological solutions for public organizations
  • Operational implementation of structuring public policies

To succeed in this position, you will:

  • Work in project team, under the supervision of a manager
  • Support the project team with your expertise in public sector
  • Perform impactful quantitative and qualitative analysis, document preparation, research and project management
  • Further develop your skills around public sector challenges
  • Support the acquisition of customers and projects in the Romandie area
  • Actively build a network in these areas within Switzerland

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a bachelor's or master's degree in political science, economics or similar
  • At least 2 years of experience in management consulting with a track record of projects in the Public Sector is a prerequisite
  • Native or fluent in French, business fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is an advantage
  • Hermes certification is a plus
  • Ability to communicate your findings and the value they bring to clients with impact orally and in writing
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in business development
