Your position

Are you keen on joining an international team dedicated to regulatory transformation? Seize the opportunity to become a valuable asset in the Business & Regulatory Development division of Bank J. Safra Sarasin.

We are seeking a candidate to assist in various regulatory financial market initiatives, including implementing EMIR Refit requirements and optimizing current MiFIR or FMIA-related processes.

Your duties
  • Conduct gap analyses based on regulatory directives
  • Define business requirements
  • Collaborate with technical experts to outline solutions, prepare business specification documents, and create JIRA tickets
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders, including Front Office and IT teams
  • Execute system and user acceptance testing, and communicate outcomes to relevant parties
  • Analyze intricate business procedures and identify opportunities for streamlining existing operations
Your qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial market regulatory frameworks (EMIR, MiFIR, FMIA, SFTR)
  • Solid comprehension of capital market instruments (ETD and OTC Derivatives)
  • Familiarity with end-to-end processes related to trade booking
  • Proficiency in Avaloq; familiarity with Prime/Front-Arena is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Team player with a proactive attitude towards achieving outstanding results
  • Ability to work autonomously, drive project progress, and meet set deadlines
  • Customer-focused mindset, exceptional communication abilities, and leadership qualities
  • Fluency in English
