Your team:

  • TheThe team is responsible for defining, ensuring alignment on and driving the execution of the Group's overarching technology strategy by working with key stakeholders, including the Group's Managing Partners, as well as the senior management of T&O and the business lines. Areas of coverage include digital experience, data and analytics, infrastructure and new ways of working. The team is also responsible for selecting and implementing innovation initiatives in emerging areas such as machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) or distributed ledger technology.

Your role:

  • As the successful applicant, you will define and drive a wide and impactful innovation agenda aimed at fostering a culture of technological innovation at Pictet. You will have the freedom to carve your own path forward with that goal in mind, closely partnering with business stakeholders as well as T&O senior executives.

Your principal responsibilities will be:

  • Contributing to Pictet's vision and strategy around technological innovation.
  • Shaping a highvisibility innovation agenda that creates awareness up to our Managing Partners.
  • Contributing innovation topics to our yearly "Tech Deep-Dive" with our Managing partners.
  • Organising thematic trips to expose our Managing Partners to specific topics.
  • Driving innovation initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Managing the product called "Innovation Challenge", which is scheduled to takes yearly, but for which communication starts a few months beforehand and extends to a few months afterwards.
  • Organising and running innovation events together with internal stakeholders and external partners/fintechs, as required.
  • Setting up a highquality Speaker Series in collaboration with the Pictet Academy training sector. These events could be aimed at a broad Pictet audience or target an executive audience with topics of interest such as Agile Methodology, Product Management, AI/ML, Blockchain or Quantum Computing.
  • Defining and executing a communication strategy with our colleagues in Group Communications, including:
  • All communications related to the Challenge and projects connected to it.
  • Team SharePoint, which shares news about market trends, as well as what our team is doing.
  • Newsletters related to tech and innovation, market watch, etc.
  • Conducting and coordinating a market watch that includes competitive landscape, key trends, thought leadership publications, etc.
  • Attracting and retaining key talent with skills ranging from consulting and innovation/design thinking via product management to technology, as required to deliver on the agenda.

Your profile:

  • Master's degree or qualification deemed equivalent.
  • Solid professional experience, including at least three years' experience in a major consulting firm and/or corporate strategy group.
  • Experience of working in the area of digital technology.
  • Excellent knowledge of the financial and tech industries.
  • Bestinclass analytical capabilities: topnotch quantitative, problemsolving, and conceptual skills.
  • Solid people leadership skills: ability to build and use the capabilities of a highperforming team, as well as business partners across the company.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • High motivation and selfdirection, taking personal ownership for results and professional development.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritise, thriving in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
  • Professional ethics, integrity and an ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality.
