WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As Regional Data Privacy Manager, you will act as the local interface between the Data Privacy Organization at corporate or divisional level and the companies and departments in your area of responsibility at the Rheinmetall Air Defence AG site in Zurich. Your main tasks include implementing data protection requirements, operating, and developing the Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) in the assigned companies, with a focus on Switzerland and Italy.
- Providing advice and information to the companies and departments in your area of responsibility on all data protection matters
- Implementing the Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) in close coordination with the Division Data Privacy Officer
- Supporting in ensuring operational data protection standards and compliance with data protection requirements
- Regular reporting on identified data protection risks and implementation of data protection measures to the Division Data Privacy Officer
- Assisting the Division Data Privacy Officer
- Conducting awareness-raising measures, training, and workshops
- Documenting data protection incidents
- Supporting departments in safeguarding the rights of data subjects
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- Completed studies in Business Law or Informatics, ideally with a focus on Compliance and/or EU Law or certified as a Data Protection Consultant according to DPA
- Minimum of two years of experience in data protection
- Sound knowledge of data protection law in Switzerland (DPA), ideally also in Italy (GDPR and Legislative Decree 101/2018 and 196/2003)
- Basic knowledge of topics such as Information Security/ISMS, DPMS, and integrated management systems
- Good understanding of operational processes and structures in companies and international corporations; quick comprehension
- Solid IT skills; willingness to expand your understanding of IT-related topics
- Good communication, moderation, and consulting skills; confident demeanor combined with a high level of social competence
- Very good German and English language skills in speech and writing; knowledge of Italian is a plus
- High analytical and conceptual thinking ability as well as a structured, independent way of working; hands-on and forward-thinking
- High sense of responsibility, initiative, and willingness to perform
- Willingness to travel (Switzerland/Germany/Italy)
