We're seeking a dedicated Commercial Excellence Manager to support our Customer & Commercial Excellence (C&CE) department with strategic activities and innovative solutions.

The position

In this exciting new challenge, you will support Novo Nordisk's Swiss Affiliate by enhancing customer understanding and targeting through capturing and analysing diverse customer and commercial insights, driving detailed segmentation, and enabling precise engagements across Sales, Marketing, and Medical.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading and improving core Commercial Excellence processes, such as supporting segmentation and targeting, planning customer engagements, and designing sales incentive schemes. Becoming an expert for selected customer groups, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations to support targeted engagements. Supporting the Field Force and facilitating data-backed decisions through leadership collaboration, in-field support, and developing accessible dashboards. Leading strategic development of Commercial Excellence and conducting special projects to enhance core processes, support regional initiatives, and manage change activities. Supporting the development of the overall C&CE Department by leading strategic improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

You've decided to pursue this exciting opportunity due to your extensive experience in Commercial Excellence, Business Intelligence/Analytics, Finance, or Consulting.

Additionally, you offer:

A university degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, economics, statistics). Desirable experience in the pharmaceutical industry with robust commercial/medical expertise, particularly in field force effectiveness. Hands-on experience with key data sources like in-market sales data and customer engagement data (Salesforce ecosystem, BI/QlikSense). Strong capabilities in project and stakeholder management, thriving in dynamic environments, and adept at collaborating across functions in a matrix structure. A deep understanding of digital technologies and a keen interest in their ongoing development, as well as their application in a multichannel environment. Proficiency in English and German; French proficiency is a bonus.

Novo Nordisk Pharma AG is the Swiss Affiliate, with over 100 employees, dedicated to making a remarkable difference to patients across the country. Located at the Circle, Zurich Airport. The Swiss Affiliate belongs to Region North West Europe, which is part of IO (International Operations).
