Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

Stäubli Electrical Connectors develops highly reliable connection solutions based on the MULTILAM contact technology. In the field of photovoltaics, Stäubli is a pioneer and global market leader with its MC4 connector portfolio. Stäubli provides connections for life in industries such as renewable energies, industrial automation applications, power transmission and distribution, railway, welding automation, test and measurement, medical devices and E-mobility.

Do you want to run a focus market globally? We are looking for a self-driven, well organized person, to lead the go-to-market activities of our industrial business.

Your work location is in Allschwil at the headquarters of our Electrical Connectors Division.

Your responsibilities

As qualified market and product expert, you are responsible for business development in your assigned markets. The rectangular modular connector lines are your main, but not only focus. You will be driving solutions for the electrification and automation in focus markets such as AGVs and others. In your role, you will be traveling globally up to 30% .
Your main responsibilities will include:
Define clear focus of market segment and application and ensure that activities are aligned to the targets Provide appropriate support and ensure that deep knowledge of the assigned markets is exchanged, and that best practices are implemented Define action plan with market and customer analyses to achieve the business plan and long-term objectives Indentify customer requirements, market trends and benchmarks. Collect relevant information and transfer into accurate and quantifiable inputs to Product Management Ensure that INP (introduction of new products) targets are met and in case of gaps, propose an action plan and monitor its execution Prepare, support and monitor the implementation of marketing campaigns and lead business development activities

Your Profile

Degree in electrical engineering or industrial engineering, or degree in business administration/economics with strong affinity for technology and IoT 5+ years of experience and proven success in launching new products in the market Used to working closely with marketing and product management Intercultural competence deepened by working in an international environment Familiar with Smart Factory 4.0 Strong communicator and motivator Excellent language skills (English fluent, German communication level, other languages desirable) Skilled in MS Office Knowledge of SAP and CRM are an advantage
