Taurus is a FINMA-regulated securities firm, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and providing digital asset trading and financial services to its clients.

It is also a leading European provider of digital asset infrastructure solutions to banks, corporations and private companies. Using blockchain technology, Taurus platform covers cryptocurrencies, tokenized securities, tokenized assets (such as NFTs), digital currencies, and stable coins.

The specific role of the UX / UI designer is to lead design work across products (desktop & mobile), websites and marketing assets (online / offline).

You will be part of the UX/UI team and will work closely with the Marketing and Product teams.

Tasks

  • Lead and conduct user research, including drafting research plans, conducting interviews, writing discussion guides for concept validation or usability tests, and synthesizing feedback into actionable readouts or reports
  • Provide insights to the product development team and document user goals, needs, motivations and pain points through user personas, use cases, and experience maps
  • Create user flows, storyboards, design mockups, interactive experience prototypes, future state visions and production ready final assets
  • Communicate design intent to internal and external teams and clearly represent your design work clearly and persuasively across different audiences with mínimal conflict and complication through effective storytelling
  • Own the endtoend design process from concept testing to creating mockups across format: desktop, mobile.
  • Expand our design system and help the development of a UI framework pattern libraries for building new features (UX study, approval on UI, export)
  • Design user screens and clickable prototypes
  • Engage closely with developers to design and implement accessible, responsive and consistent User Interfaces improvements
  • Map existing internal processes to visual flowcharts

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience design, with a background in banking, capital markets, insurance or cryptocurrency (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate ideas with confidence and create engaging presentations that tell a story and inspire others
  • Deep understanding of user experience, user research, interaction design, and service design principles
  • A collaborative, Design Thinking mindset and a Lean UX approach
  • Understanding and familiarity with research methodologies for both qualitative and quantitative including conducting interviews, contextual enquiries, etc. (as well as leading said activities)
  • General understanding of common software project management and Agile development practices
  • Proficiency with wireframing, prototyping and visual design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, ProtoPie, Miro,etc.)
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates a knowledge of the UI/UX lifecycle, including examples of where you have delivered complex work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Teamworker, precise, organized, autonomous, openminded, selfstarter, fastlearner, handson and resultoriented
  • Fluent in English. French is a plus
  • Knowledge of animation software is a plus (After effects, Spline, Lottifefiles, others )
  • Knowledge of gamification tips is a plus
