River - Nautic

Viking est une compagnie de croisières dynamique en pleine croissance disposant d'une flotte de plus de 80 bateaux de croisières fluviales et 7 bateaux de croisières maritimes. Elle offre plus de 100 itinéraires à découvrir à travers le monde. Les passagers peuvent profiter du confort et de l'élégance de ses navires primés. En 2022, la compagnie a inauguré 8 nouveaux bateaux de croisières fluviales, 2 bateaux d'expédition et un bateau unique naviguant sur le Mississippi aux Etats-Unis.

OBJET DU POSTE

Le second capitaine est le bras droit du capitaine. Il est chargé de la stabilité et de la sécurité du navire dans le respect de toutes les règlementations légales. Il s'assure que les passagers se sentent bien et occupe un rôle de modèle pour tout l'équipage.

RESPONSABILITES

Securité

Responsabilité globale de la sécurité à bord Respect des directives, instructions (manuel nautique) et règles en vigueur Co-responsabilité de la propreté, de l'hygiène et de l'ordre irréprochables à bord Test, utilisation et contrôle de tous les dispositifs de sécurité (extincteurs...) Organisation et exécution des exercices de sécurité Gestion et contrôle du livre de bord Formation des nouveaux membres d'équipage dans leurs fonctions et dans le cadre de leur rôle de sécurité

Navigation

Respect des horaires et du planning pour éviter les incidents Utilisation raisonnée de toutes les ressources énergétiques (lubrifiants...) Direction professionnelle et sûre du navire

Missions sp é cifiques

Former les nouveaux membres d'équipage et veillez à ce que les standards de l'entreprise soient respectés Former les nouveaux officiers Organiser et effectuer régulièrement les inspections du navire Participer aux réunions et formations pertinentes de l'entreprise Maintenir un bon contact avec les autorités, ports... Gérer le pont soleil en fonction des besoins de sécurité et des attentes des passagers Vérifier l'état des lignes d'amarrage et des câbles sur une base hebdomadaire S'assurer que les membres d'équipage portent un équipement de protection individuelle (gilet de sauvetage, chaussures de sécurité, casque...) Attribution et contrôle des travaux concernant la partie nautique

PROFIL RECHERCHE

Au minimum deux ans d'expérience en tant que troisième capitaine Intérêt pour la formation continue (par exemple, compétences linguistiques, extension du certificat) Indépendant et flexible Capacité de décision, prise d'initiatives, assertivité Fort esprit d'équipe et leadership Ambitieux et persévérant Français et Anglais obligatoires, Allemand un atout
