With over USD 30 billion in assets under management today, Partners Group Private Wealth offers a wide range of vehicles that enable private investors to access private markets returns.
The solutions the firm manages for Private Wealth clients and counterparties range from open-ended evergreen funds where clients benefit from a predefined level of liquidity, to traditional closed ended funds as well as customized solutions.
What it's about
In this position you will be part of the Private Wealth Client Solutions team in Partners Group Head office in Zug, CH.
You will be responsible for building new and broadening existing relationships with private wealth channels primarily for listed product solutions.
This position includes managing existing and developing new relationships and fundraising opportunities in the region and demands a high degree of collaboration with the global Partners Group team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the team with strategic distribution projects across openended and closedended funds, with a strong focus on openended listed products, as well as in daytoday tasks
- Developing and managing relationships with existing and new Private Wealth partners such as global/regional/local banks and asset managers
- Sourcing and leading distribution projects and product initiatives, coordinating daytoday interactions for openended listed products
- Map out investor landscape, plan and undertake regular cold call campaigns
- Understanding and presenting listed Partners Group's solutions to partner organizations including operational and regulatory features of a product/project
- Working closely with the Liquid Private Markets and Private Wealth teams
- Becoming an expert in liquid private markets and Partners Group's platform
- Understand key competitors' offerings and know how to best position Partners Group's solutions
- Creating tailored, persuasive and highquality marketing materials and responses to client requests, assisting with queries, and performance updates.
- Be involved in client onboarding, including CDD and KYC
What we expect
- Bachelor's degree (MBA, Master's and/or CFA preferred) with strong academic background in finance, accounting, economics or a relevant discipline
- 58 years of relevant work experience (preferably in listed industry) in business development, consulting, sales & marketing, relationship management
- Previous experience within the fund selection and institutional sales departments in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Listed Markets, is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and identifying/converting new clients with a track record of fundraising success
- Familiarity with mutual funds and ETFs would be a distinct advantage
- Proficiency in business English and German both written and verbal, other languages are beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a polished, professional manner
- Attention to detail, extremely organized, and commitment to excellence. Able to problem solve with a clientfocused mindset
- Responsive and willing to work to tight deadlines in a challenging environment
