Digital Onboard Revenues Operations Manager

The Digital Onboard Revenues Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing two units of the Digital Onboard Revenues Department, Photo and Amusement, for our 22 ships.

Reporting directly to the Digital Onboard Revenues Senior Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and successful operations of our business.


  • Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
  • Proven experience as Operations Manager or similar, ideally within the maritime industry
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills to inspire and motivate the team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Proven project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strategic thinker with a problemsolving mindset to address operational challenges.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Supervise and provide strategic direction to the Photo and Amusement departments, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently to meet business objectives
  • Oversee the HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee development, to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce onboard
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets set by the company. Create, revise, and update yearly budgets, and prepare financial reports to assess the department's performance
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures across departments, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies
  • Train and mentor midlevel managers within the departments to enhance their leadership skills and promote a collaborative work environment
  • Oversee marketing initiatives to ensure effective promotion of our services and maintain a competitive edge in the market
  • Maintain strong connections with existing partners, fostering longterm relationships, and proactively seek opportunities to build new partnerships to support the company's growth
  • Lead various projects that contribute to operational efficiency, cost optimization, and business expansion
  • Generate financial reports, presentations, and business plans to communicate progress and potential areas for improvement to senior management.

As a result, MSC Cruises' fleet will double by 2026, while the passenger capacity will triple to reach five million passengers per year.

MSC Cruises is the first cruise company to develop an investment plan of this length and magnitude.
