Position in SNF-funded project on digital markers of well-being in smartphone data (m/w/d):
50-70 % (Start on or later, limited to 4 years)

Your tasks:

  • Process and analyze largescale datasets of behavioral and contextual sensing data.
  • Utilize statistical modelling/machine learning techniques to investigate how wellbeing is reflected in individual and crossindividual behavior and contexts.
  • Collaborate with an international team of researchers to contribute to the overall project goals and disseminate research findings through publications and presentations.

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in the Behavioral Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (see above).
  • Strong interest in wellbeing and human behavior
  • Strong skillset in research methods and statistical analysis or motivation to acquire it.
  • Experience in handling and analyzing largescale datasets or motivation to acquire it.
  • Experience with programming languages such as R, Python or similar.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and data mining approaches or motivation to acquire it.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team.
