To strengthen our Business Support Unit team (BSU), we are looking for a Specialist with ability to understand complex reinsurance products/structures with focus on Life. Reporting to the Head of BSU, the successful candidate will become part of a motivated team that takes pride in a collaborative and flexible work mode that is based on trust and dedication/support.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting the quality assurance of life transactions with main focus on deviation analysis under IFRS17 and local GAAP
- Support our Reporting Specialist in setting-up new reports for the NewRe organization including performing quality assurance tasks
- Support for Administration
- Non-Life & Life Technical accounting & Non-Life Claims handling, including Life upload support
- Cash handling
- Support in projects
- Coordination and data delivery to our external Auditor
Your Profile
- Life reinsurance accounting or controlling with IFRS17 education
- Commercial degree or similar
- Flair for numbers
- Quick grasp and good technical skills
- Proactive team player with good communications skills, flexible, exact and with an independent working style
- Valuing and promoting an inclusive working and learning environment
- Excellent command of English, any other European language would be an asset
