The Global Head Supply and Commercial Operations (COO) is E2E responsible for order fulfillment, ensuring timely quality supply against a competitive price, while working withing the inventory targets and improves commercial operation incl. pricing, margin improvements, virtual and digital solutions and enable inside sales.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manages 55 manufacturing (premix and additives) sites across more than 40 countries in all regions. Gives strategic direction for more than 2000 colleagues in the organization as direct and indirect reports (and dotted line SHE, Procurement, Finance and HR).

  • Provides and executes strategic direction to Global product management ensuring quality supply at a competitive price.

  • Efficient and customer centric order intake and management incl. digital solutions, virtual and inside sales.

  • Delivers large transformation projects, DICI and ANH CAPEX program.

  • Drives and executes commercial operations improvements (Margin, Pricing, etc.)

  • Innovates and improves operations philosophy and strategy globally influencing commercial operations, supply chain and sales enablement.

  • Communicates frequently with key suppliers and customers, influences on industry forums and regulatory bodies through Quality & Formulations. Build larger strategic alliances with equipment providers, digital solution providers and as needed with consulting companies.

  • Part of the ANH LT reporting to the ANH President. (Until carve out) Frequently interacts with the ExCo and as needed with the Supervisory Board. Works across functions incl. Innovation, Sales, etc.

    You bring

  • At least 20 plus years of commercial/operations experience at a similar level.

  • Candidate should have broad cultural exposure – preferably has worked in more than two regions. Has demonstrated in the life science sector the ability to strategically influence and execute up to Managing Board (ExCo) and Supervisory Board.

  • Enterprise level thinking, able to shape, lead and deliver beyond function.

  • Energetic, visionary and passionate leadership skills, that shows high level of inclusivity while delivering results.

  • Ability to build trust to create collaboration and drives high engagement through the organization (region, country level).

  • High level of responsibility to own the outcome and deliver.

  • Owns people development, creates a risk-based learning culture.

  • Encourages outside in view, welcomes challenges and promotes customer centricity.
