WHO WE ARE

Ever since 1949, the International University Sports Federation (FISU) has been the key driver of university sport around the world. FISU offers opportunity and inspiration to all university students to play sport, in perfect synchronization with their education.

At the heart of the university sports movement lie FISU’s flagship sports events – the FISU World University Games, FISU World University Championships, and the FISU University World Cups. Across these multiple events, the FISU sports programme covers more than 60 sports.

In addition to international sports competitions, FISU also stages educational events and programmes that offer students opportunities for individual development, networking, exchange of ideas and collaborative learning – such as the FISU Development and Healthy Campus program, FISU World Forum and FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy, among others.”

Job Overview:

The FISU Digital Media Assistant brings creativity and dexterity to FISU’s communication with audiences across a range of media that includes text, images, video and mixed media. While digital media is the primary communication platform of the work, these skills are built on journalistic bedrocks: well-crafted prose, original reporting, attention to detail and publishing on deadline.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Co-create and deliver FISU’s Digital Media strategy in a way that enhances the organisation’s strategic objective etc.Develop and contribute content to FISU’s Media & Communication campaignCo-create and develop exclusive FISU content (text, video, audio, etc.)Monitor, evaluate and report FISU’s Digital Media activitiesStay informed and contribute on the latest media trends and developmentsEnsure FISU is on the leading edge of sports content for fans across communication platformsEnsure FISU’s social media channels have compelling content that is tailored for specific platformsCo-create and manage all social media campaignsDevelop FISU’s digital storytelling capabilities by pitching and creating digitally savvy storiesTarget engagement growth on all FISU channelsManage communities on all FISU social channelsImplement engagement-driven communication campaigns and stories such as challenges, contests etc.Assist in internal communicationsCoordinate the digital and social content sharing plan with member federations inclusive of web, mobile, social, content and live digital experiencesAssist on general media tasksAssist on FISU official website monitoring (Wordpress)

Your personal skills:

Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Digital MediaNative speaker/ C1-level fluent English, second language a plusKnowledge of social media best practices, latest trends & resourcesCreativity to engage audienceAnalytical mindset with understanding of key social growth & engagement metricsDemonstrated platform fluency on X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok as well as other digital platformsExperience managing multiple projects at the same timeBasic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)Basic videography skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut)Evening & weekend work flexibilityKnowledge of FISU and University Sports is a plus
