Compliance Officer

Your tasks

  • Foster a culture of compliance by promoting awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor business activities to identify and address any potential compliance issues
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in the compliance program
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance-related matters
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance-related activities

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) are a plus
  • Knowledge in GDPR and the EU AML Directive
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to drive matters independently while balancing the need to collaborate and maintain an appropriate level of communication and coordination with the rest your peers
  • Fluent in German and English
