The Faculty of Psychology is one of seven faculties of the oldest university in Switzerland. With our core focus on Society & Choice and Health & Interventions, we are successful both nationally and internationally in our research and study programs.
The professorship to be filled conducts excellent research in the field of developmental psychology and teaches (4 semester hours per week) in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs (in the fields of developmental and differential psychology). The professorship of Human Development investigates the development and change of human experience and behavior over time from a psychological perspective, examining the entire lifespan and focusing on the study of cognitive and social development processes. 2) Dealing with social media or media skills training; (3) Development and promotion of social skills. Furthermore, research into successful interventions for the positive development of children, adolescents, and adults may receive particular attention. Candidates have also successfully taught university courses at Bachelor's and/or Master's level. The professorship Human Development should offer the Faculty of Psychology development opportunities in research and teaching and open up access to an attractive research and employment market for students and graduates. To increase the proportion of women in leading academic positions, the University strongly welcomes female applicants.
