The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom. About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Food & Beverage Department in Zurich, the In Room Dining Supervisor is responsible for assisting and leading the In Room Dining team to always provide impeccable service to guests. The In Room Dining Supervisor reports to the In Room Dining Manager. As In Room Dining Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties: Leading your own team and ensuring smooth and guest-oriented workflows in the in room dining operations Feedback and training of your team Taking and preparing orders by telephone Professional in-room serving of food and drinks Professional advice and customer care for our guests Excellent product and sales knowledge Deliver in room dining order to the guests in a timely manner, within the quoted time Check accuracy of order before delivering - be sure it is complete. Assisting and preparing all VIP amenities Ensuring guest satisfaction with the highest quality standards and professional handling of guest complaints Responsible for the correct accounting of your area Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines Our commitment to you: Learning & Development.
