Software License Management Specialist

About The RoleWe are looking for a Software License Management Specialist to oversee customer licensing agreements and be responsible for the creation and maintenance of license keys for our Customers. This position requires a detailed understanding of the legal and business aspects of Customer contracts, ensuring that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions set out in the license agreements.The Software License Management Specialist will work closely with the business and the support teams (Legal, Finance, Contract Management, Billing) to facilitate a smooth implementation of agreements, monitor compliance, manage license renewals and amendments as required.This position is based in Basel.Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with software licensing agreements and company policiesManage software license keys for new and existing CustomersReview and process applications for licenses, ensuring all required documents are submitted and criteria are metCoordinate internally with the business and support Genedata teams to ensure the timely delivery and resolution of license key issuesGenerate the license keys in SalesForceDevelop and implement procedures and reporting for the licensing processSkills & ExperienceBachelor's degree or other higher education with studies in Business administration, law or a related disciplineAbility to decipher complex legal documents2 years of work experience in a business administration, legal, paralegal or Contract Management environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plusIdeally experience with SalesForceWhat We OfferGenedata is on a mission to accelerate the pace of biopharma R&D.
