Junior Procurement Specialist
Your TasksThe Junior Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in the efficient procurement of goods and services. This role will involve strategic planning, supplier relationship management, and ensuring the timely acquisition of quality supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints. The incumbent will contribute to the optimization of procurement processes to support operational needs and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Main tasks- Collaborate with department heads to understand procurement needs and develop procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes and ensure compliance
- Contribute to achieving the objectives of the Procurement team.
- Act in accordance with the quality system and the values of Unilabs.
- Respect medical confidentiality.
- Achieve assigned objectives.
- Work to promote continuous improvement and learning on topics related to your area of expertise.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of medical equipment and supplies is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English and French, German is a plus.
