MECHANICAL INSPECTOR

We are looking for 

Mechanical Inspector resident in the district of Lausanne (Swiss)

YOUR Mission:

• Conducting periodical and commissioning inspections on various lifting equipment, including Mobile Elevated Work Platform, Forklifts, Cranes and Hoists.

• Conducting inspections and factory acceptance tests on various mechanical equipment, including Valves, Pumps, Compressors and Welded structures.

• Performing final inspections in accordance with project requirements and applicable industry standards to ensure the quality and compliance of the mechanical equipment.

• Creating detailed and high-quality inspection reports.

• Reviewing final documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

YOUR SKILLS:

• Professional background in Mechanical Engineering.

• Knowledge of Directive 2006/42/EC - machinery directive/EN 280 and SUVA requirements for lifting equipment.

• Demonstrated experience in 2nd and 3rd party inspections.

• Qualification of periodical lifting inspection or demonstrated experience would be an advantage.

• Fluent in French and English, the ability to work in German would be an advantage.

• Swiss nationality or Swiss work permit mandatory.
