Software Engineer in Test Automation

This is your opportunity to work in a scaled agile environment within internationally distributed and passionate teams developing high quality solutions for the medical hearing health care sector.

As Software Engineer in Test Automation you support the test activities throughout the whole test design and execution process to deliver significant information regarding the actual product quality state.

You work in strong collaboration with the software test engineers and support them with automating manual test cases to reduce the manual verification efforts in the production life cycle.

Additionally, you run and maintain the test infrastructure like test environments, frameworks, and tools.

Your tasks

Automate and maintain functional regression test cases Support the setup of the central test infrastructure, test automation framework, tools, and virtual machines Execute regression test sets and report relevant findings Ensure a high test coverage Provide high quality test automation services - for example: static code analysis  Ensure the availability of the test infrastructure

Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, science, engineering, technology, math or similar  Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and test automation Practical knowledge about object-oriented programing language, preferred C# and .NET; Rust is a plus Familiarity with agile software development methodologies Familiarity with TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Git, Polarion, NUnit, BDDfy, and Ranorex is a plus Good knowledge of software testing practices and methodologies Good testing knowledge of Windows Applications and Web Applications Ability to work independently Effective communication skills in English; German is a plus
