Global Logistics Manager

For our client with HQ in Switzerland, we are looking to speak with Global Logistics Manager for a longterm project (temp to perm).

You will coordinate with various teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Clinical Development & Operations, and external partners. This role supports key logistics tasks, including planning and executing shipping, labeling, packaging, and distribution activities.

Key tasks:
  • Manage global supply chain and logistics activities for Drug Substance, Drug Product, Clinical Trial products, Commercial Finished Goods, Medical Devices, and R&D samples.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for supply, transportation, logistics, and traceability issues.
  • Prepare, review, and approve shipping documentation to comply with local Customs and Global Trade regulations.
  • Ensure proper tariff codes and valuation with customs partners.
  • Liaise with Finance for Duty and VAT payments and assist with VAT reclamation and Intrastat reporting.
  • Plan, execute, and track domestic and international shipments.
  • Resolve transport deviations and issues with stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of global carriers, Customs Agents, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and GDP in storage, distribution, and returns.
  • Perform inventory movement transactions within SAP.
Education & Experience:
  • Degree in Science, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience in the pharmaceutical or MD industry.
  • Experience in an international and regulated environment, managing carriers and customs agents in Europe.
  • Knowledge of European regulations for import and export of pharmaceutical goods.
  • English speaking only
