This is a regional role based in a laboratory specializing in innovation, characterization, and process development for Roquette’s plant-based ingredients using various traditional and advanced techniques.More specifically, this role will support the day-to-day activities of the Sensory Science group. The role requires extensive laboratory work, assisting R&D scientists as directed.

· Assist in the preparation and clean up required to conduct sensory panels.

· Dispense materials as needed per direction of scientists.

· Wash laboratory glassware as needed.

· Participate in EHS, safety, and technical staff meetings.

· Participate in general lab management such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and writing/reviewing EHS SOPs.

· Support facility and infrastructure maintenance activities for the laboratory.

· Commit and act, under all circumstances, in accordance to the values and principles of Roquette code conduct/Ethics, as well as Quality and Safety policies.

REQUIREMENTS

· Legally eligible to work in USA.

· High school diploma

· Familiar with working in a laboratory setting

· Willingness and ability to taste various food and beverage products, including the Big 8 allergens

· Adaptable, independent, and solutions driven with strong problem-solving abilities.

· Hands on person and able to multi-task.

· Good spoken and written English.
