Senior Risk Manager P&C

At SCOR the Risk Capital team, based in Zurich, is in charge of producing, analysing, reporting and explaining the results from the internal model (IM) for Solvency II, IFRS 17 and SCOR‘s internal economic performance framework for the senior and executive management.

In your role, you will leverage SCOR’s P&C IM to conduct and report quantitative risk assessments. You will cooperate with other departments to form a broad understanding of various processes and projects within one of the leading Reinsurers in the world. Additionally, you will further develop the use cases of the IM in various areas for business decisions.


They include, but are not restricted to, e.g.:Conduct and report quantitative risk assessments based on IM resultsContribute to and lead to cross regional or functional teams requiring IM resultsEstablish yourself as point of contact for P&C related IM Solvency II, IFRS 17, or economic performance related tasks and questions from senior managementDevelop and deploy new use cases for the IM to support and contribute to business decisions
5+ years Solvency II / SST internal model or pricing in P&C (re)insuranceProficiency with MS Office and knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python)Strong project management, communication and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skills in English; additional languages (e.g. German, French) are of advantageYou consider yourself as a good team player and able to motivate project members and colleaguesQualified P&C actuary or comparable qualification and experience
