Ready for Swisscom

Swisscom is transforming its current warehouses and data lakes into a central, public cloud-based data platform. This strategic initiative will transform Swisscom's data landscape into a data mesh and democratise the data platform with a self-service enabled toolbox.

In close collaboration with business, the engineers and the architecture team, you will support and lead the technical implementation of the data products in the data mesh. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Swisscom as a data and AI-driven company.

Collaborate with business units and the enterprise architecture team to define an enterprise-wide data model Lead the design and implementation of data products within Swisscom's data mesh framework Establish guidelines and standards for future data model extensions and maintenance Opportunity to work with purpose-driven and friendly international colleagues. Your skills

Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science (or a related field) or equivalent experience Expertise in warehouse or lakehouse architectures, infrastructure components and ETL/ELT processes; knowledge of analytic tools, environments and data structures is a plus Hands-on experience in designing data models and translating them into implementable solution designs Hands-on experience with AWS public cloud services
