The team, the position and your responsibilities:

As an experienced data warehouse engineer, you will support a young and dynamic team based in Zurich and Bern to develop customized solutions in the area of ​​data intelligence for our customers. From requirements analysis to conception, architecture, design, implementation and deployment, you will actively support the entire process.

Your main responsibilities as a Cloud Data Warehouse Engineer:

    • As a competent contact person for customers in the DWH/BI area, you are in direct contact and help customers to develop
    • You take over the technical management of customer projects and ensure the quality of implementation
  • You carry out POCs and develop your own frameworks

As an ideal candidate you are:

    • a committed, motivated and action-oriented personality with a flair for entrepreneurial and conceptual thinking
    • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
    • at least three years working as a data engineer and has extensive SQL knowledge
    • Fluent in German and have good written and spoken English skills
    • familiar with data warehousing principles and modeling: Data Vault, Kimball, Star Schema, Slowly Changing Dimensions etc.
    • Experienced in version control with Git and the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Experience in dealing with cloud technologies, especially Azure, Snowflake and/or Databricks

Other preferred qualifications would be:

  • Knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, C#, Python, Scala etc.
