Validation Engineer (M/W) - Mikron Switzerland AG, Boudry

Location: Boudry, NE, Switzerland
Type: Permanent contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate assembly systems according to partner agreements (timelines, quality).
  • Identify technical issues, find solutions, and communicate them to project teams.
  • Act as the central contact between partners and internal project teams for qualification/validation topics.
  • Create and maintain qualification/validation documentation from the design phase for mechanical, software, and hardware components.
  • Lead qualification/validation activities (risk analysis, protocol writing, and test execution during FAT/SAT) both internally and with partners (approximately 20% travel annually).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in the qualification/validation of automated systems (mechanical, software, hardware).
  • Knowledge of directives and standards.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry (advantageous).
  • Fluent in French; good knowledge of English and/or German.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, objective-focused, and priority management.
  • Availability to take on challenges.
  • Interest in innovation and automation technologies.
  • Agility, flexibility, and adaptability.

Additional Information:

  • Only candidates with an EU/EFTA passport can obtain a Swiss work permit.
  • Flexible working hours with the possibility of remote work (1 day per week).
