Job description

We are looking for a talented, proactive, and motivated Global Key Account Manager for Groups & MICE in our dynamic team based in Switzerland.

The Global Key Account Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing accounts within our Groups segments, markets and/or geographical territories. You will optimize the current client portfolio and drive acquisition of new clients, to enable profitable business growth in the Groups & MICE segment.

Main responsibilities:

Lead market research, conduct analysis and identify commercial opportunities Proactively identify new sales channels to expand the company's customer network Partner and collaborate with cross-country Teams to develop, drive, and implement a mid/long-term strategic commercial plan aligned with company business objectives Contribute to the enhancement of product, portfolios, and services by sharing best practice & lead innovation Build strong relationships with clients to fully understand their requirements and demand Drive operational and cost efficiencies by identifying and streamlining processes and further develop technology Monitor and evaluate Commercial activities performance and prepare reports for senior management & clients Participate in industry events at national and international specialist trade fairs, networking events and workshops Plan and lead regular sales trips, scouting trips, site inspections and host clients where relevant and appropriate

Requirements

Professional experience in a Sales/Key Account position, preferably within Tourism/Groups & MICE Highly motivated, pro-active team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude Excellent sales, communication, and presentation capabilities with strong relational and persuasion skills Strong analytical thinking with a focus on understanding and responding to key business indicators and competitive trends Ability to work and interact in a multinational and multicultural environment Flexibility with disposition to frequently travel Fluent written and oral communication skills in English, additional languages will be a plus Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications Degree in Tourism or in Business Administration is a plus
