We are looking for experienced and motivated Corporate Action Analyst to join our lively international team and work on projects for Europe's leading brands


Roles & Responsibilities 

 

  • Processing all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions (stock splits, stock dividends, spin-offs, exchanges, mergers, tenders, consents, ) on global custody accounting system
  • Manage Corporate Actions Escalations related to internal and external stakeholders
  • Corporate action information received from vendors and other sources is accurately interpreted and recorded on the Corporate Actions Dept
  • The high degree of risk inherent in corporate actions processing is identified, understood, and controlled so that financial losses due to misinterpretation of information or processing error are minimized
  • Understand link between Custody / Fund Master / DTC and resolve exceptions between them
  • Processing client elections / instructions on voluntary corporate actions
  • Working with the design teams to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the delivered design fulfils all of the requirements adequately
  • Supporting the technology teams through the build and unit test activities to ensure that all requirements are understood
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify potential risk scenarios
  • Implement controls to minimize operational risk

What are we looking for?


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not required
  • Solid working knowledge of the key elements of CA processing
  • Solid knowledge in Securities Transfer
  • Possess the ability to call out high risk items or seek assistance to minimize loss to either the shareholder and/or Fidelity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily objectives
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify risk and risk mitigation opportunities
  • Adaptability based upon business need and a changing operating environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously while balancing own work and assisting the team
  • Language – Italian Bilingual/Native & English B1
