pYou are taking over an important bSenior /b bSystem Engineer /brole within a leading solutions provider for Treasuries and Capital Markets divisions of banks and corporates. /ppYou will join a small and highly skilled ICT team responsible for designing, operating and continuously improving the company's hybrid IT infrastructure, supporting both internal services and the proprietary MasterFinance platform deployed at customer sites. /ph3Job Responsibilities /h3ulliManage Windows Server and Linux infrastructures /liliAdminister Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID and endpoint management solutions /liliManage and support cloud services (Microsoft Azure / AWS) /liliManage backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions /liliParticipate in infrastructure hardening and vulnerability remediation /liliParticipate in infrastructure modernization initiatives and technology improvement projects /liliMaintain technical documentation and operational procedures /li /ulh3Profile Requirements /h3ulli5+ years as a System Engineer in small-mid teams /liliSolid experience in Windows Server administration, virtualization, storage and enterprise infrastructure management /liliExperience with hardware installation and maintenance in enterprise server environments /liliExperience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux environments /liliExperience with Hyper-V or VMware virtualization platforms /liliExperience with PowerShell and/or Bash scripting /liliKnowledge of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP, switching, VLANs, routing and firewall fundamentals) /liliKnowledge of both Windows and Linux hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation and basic cybersecurity concepts /liliKnowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS /liliKnowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and SQL (Oracle or PostgreSQL preferred) /liliExcellent communication, analytical and organizational skills /liliStrong teamwork, patience, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently /liliAttention to detail and good problem-solving skills /liliFluent in Italian and English /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliBSc or MSc in Computer Engineering/Science or related field /liliExperience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, Apache, NGINX) /liliKnowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration /liliBasic software development or automation experience /liliExperience with automation and infrastructure scripting /liliExperience with monitoring and logging platforms is appreciated /li /ulh3Preferred Professional Certifications /h3ulliMicrosoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) /li /ulpEquivalent certifications or demonstrable professional experience will also be considered. /ph3Seniority Level /h3ulliInformation Technology and Services /li /ulh3Disclaimer / Policy Statements /h3pTHEMA Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer: we respect and seek to empower each individual and support the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills and experiences within our workforce. /p
