Zurich Instruments' vision is to be the reference for digital instrumentation in leading research and development laboratories. /p pAs a Technical Buyer within our Supply Chain team, you will ensure the timely, reliable procurement of components that meet Zurich Instruments' quality and precision requirements. Serving as the key interface between Planning, Suppliers, Manufacturing, and RD, you will translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies, build strong supplier relationships, and resolve technical and logistical challenges to keep production on track. Your contribution will be essential to delivering our high-tech instrumentation to customers worldwide. /p pbYour responsibilities /b /p ulliResponsible for operational purchasing including quotation requests, purchase orders and order confirmations. /liliMonitoring of schedule dates and reporting critical delays to prevent material shortages. /liliFirst contact for quotation requests and purchasing for production, RD and other departments. /liliAssisting with maintaining optimal inventory levels and materials on a regular basis. /liliContributor to process improvements. /liliSupport with New Product Development (NPD) activities. /li /ul pbYour profile /b /p ulliCompleted commercial or technical apprenticeship with further education in purchasing/business administration or engineering degree with relevant procurement experience. /liliMinimum 10 years of experience in procurement in a technical (ideally electronic) industry. /liliSolution oriented thinking, independent and conscientious working style, hands‑on mentality. /liliTechnically savvy with the ability to understand the high‑level technical design, issues, and solutions of our products. /liliStructured way of working, strong negotiation skills, analytical and conceptual abilities. /liliExperience with ERP systems and procurement processes. /liliFluent written and spoken German and English. /li /ul pWe offer a diverse work environment with an open and transparent company culture where personal development forms the basis of our success.
