pOur client is a established pharmaceutical company in Basel and to support their sales team, we are looking for a Sales manager to join their team. This role is based in Basel and it is a full time permanent opportunity. /ph3Main Responsibilities. /h3ulliDrive sales growth for the assigned Diseases portfolio across Switzerland. /liliManage and develop relationships with key hospitals, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare stakeholders. /liliIdentify patient pathways, treatment gaps, and commercial opportunities within the disease area. /liliDevelop account and territory strategies based on customer needs, market dynamics, and access conditions. /liliCommunicate clinical and product information clearly and effectively to healthcare professionals. /liliBuild and maintain strong networks with key decision-makers and opinion leaders. /liliWork closely with Medical, Marketing, Market Access, and other internal teams to execute commercial initiatives. /liliMonitor market developments, sales performance, customer activity, and future demand. /liliSupport product launches, educational events, congresses, and stakeholder meetings. /liliMaintain accurate customer information, activity records, forecasts, and account plans in the CRM. /liliEnsure all customer interactions and commercial activities comply with company policies, SOPs, and applicable regulations. /liliTravel regularly across Switzerland to maintain strong customer engagement. /li /ulh3Qualifications Experience /h3ulli5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, specialty care, hospital, or healthcare sales. /liliDemonstrated success managing and growing hospital or strategic customer accounts. /liliGood understanding of the Swiss healthcare and hospital environment. /liliNative-level German with strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent English and other Swiss languages are advantageous. /liliStrong commercial, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities. /liliAble to understand complex scientific information and communicate it effectively to different stakeholders. /liliProactive, independent, and commercially driven with a strong sense of ownership. /liliStrong analytic, planning, and organisational abilities. /liliComfortable working cross-functionally and building partnerships internally and externally. /liliWillingness to work on the field on a regular basis. /li /ul
