About the role
The Software Engineer is responsible for writing and maintaining application code in a high-level language (XML), translating biological manufacturing processes into machine instructions. In this role, you will perform developer testing, participate in integration testing, and contribute to technical reports. - Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- First experience in software engineering ; ideally within an R&D department in the life sciences industry.
- Hands-on experience or solid understanding of software programming, along with proven participation in software development methodologies and source code management (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, GitHub).
- Full professional proficiency in English is required. Preferred Qualifications / Assets:
- Practical knowledge or experience with CI/CD concepts and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in a markup language (e.g., XML, TeX, HTML) or Python.
- Practical knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, cGMP), particularly for the US and European markets.
- Proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
