Finance Intern

Suisselle is a scale-up based in the technology parc of Yverdon-les-Bains (VD), Y-Parc. The innovative products supporting beauty via several lines are manufactured in Yverdon and sold to medical doctors and distributors worldwide. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team in Yverdon-les-Bains. This is a hands-on internship offering practical exposure to day-to-day finance and accounting operations. You will work closely with the Finance team and support financial data processing, accounting controls, ERP transactions and reporting. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of basic accounting and finance principles, is comfortable working with numbers and large amounts of data, and is keen to develop strong practical Finance experience.

Key responsibilities
-Support day-to-day Finance operations, including AP/AR, invoice processing, payments and reconciliations; -Perform financial data entry and maintain accurate records and master data in SAP Business One; -Extract, verify and cross-check financial and sales data, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy; -Support the preparation of regular Finance reports, Excel analyses and month-end activities; -Assist with Finance process documentation, internal controls and maintenance of supporting documentation; -Provide other Finance and administrative support to the team as required. experience:

- Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration;
- Good understanding of accounting principles, including AP/AR, invoices, payments and basic reconciliations;
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail;
- Comfortable working with data and performing systematic cross-checks and controls; -Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with data; experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) is an advantage;
- Experience with an ERP/accounting system is a strong advantage;
- Previous internship or first practical experience in Finance/Accounting is an advantage;
- Structured, rigorous and reliable way of working;
- Able to work independently on recurring tasks once trained;
- Curious, proactive and willing to understand the logic behind the data rather than simply entering it;
- Good English, French is a plus.
