About the Role
The client is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to strengthen its product team. The role focuses on hands-on development, independent technical implementation, and reliable delivery of complex frontend requirements. You will work primarily with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS to build reusable web components with a strong emphasis on user experience, accessibility, and usability. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, testing, and improvements to development processes. The position requires close collaboration with developers and business stakeholders, along with a willingness to share knowledge and help move technical topics forward. Experience with Java backend development is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently design and implement complex frontend requirements using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS.
• Develop reusable web components with a strong focus on user experience, accessibility, and usability.
• Design and implement solutions that comply with established architecture requirements, including the necessary documentation.
• Ensure software quality through end-to-end (E2E) testing and UI testing, using Storybook and Chromatic where applicable.
• Use AI-based coding assistants, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve code quality and development efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve code quality, development workflows, and team processes.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development team members across teams.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute constructively to engineering discussions and improvements.
• Translate complex architectural requirements into high-quality, maintainable code.
• Contribute to backend development using Java where required and where experience permits. Required Qualifications
• Strong practical experience as a Senior Frontend Developer.
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS.
• Solid knowledge of web components, accessibility, and usability, with a strong focus on user experience.
• Experience working in DevOps and cloud environments.
• Experience with end-to-end testing and UI testing.
• Confident use of modern AI-based coding assistants, such as GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to translate complex architectural requirements into high-quality code and resolve challenging technical problems.
• Experience working in agile teams, with a delivery-focused approach and a high degree of independence and accountability.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and willingness to share knowledge.
• German language proficiency at C1 level, with the ability to communicate appropriately with different audiences. Preferred Qualifications / Requirements
• Experience with Storybook and Chromatic for UI testing.
