About the Role
Seeking a passionate and delivery-oriented Product Owner with strong Salesforce experience to support our enterprise-level grant management and operational platforms. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in agile delivery, a user-focused mindset, and a strong understanding of the non-profit domain.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the voice of the customer for the Salesforce-based platform, with a focus on features supporting grants, programs, and operational reporting.
  • Own and manage the product backlog: prioritize features, refine user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business needs into clearly defined user stories and system behavior for the Agile development team.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and participate in PI Planning sessions (SAFe framework).
  • Work closely with product managers, business analysts, QA teams, and developers to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Coordinate with business product managers to validate requirements and test functionality.
  • Participate in system demos, UAT support, and ensure features meet functional and compliance expectations.
  • Promote system adoption by providing documentation input and supporting training content.

 

Requirements

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles (SAFe certification is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with multicultural teams.
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; working knowledge of French is an asset.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Information Systems, International Development, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud preferred).
  • Familiarity with platforms like Amp Impact or grants management systems is a strong plus.
  • Experience working in or with non-profit, public health, or international development organizations.
