Legal Counsel – Commodities (Switzerland)
- Provide legal support to the trading, operations and logistics teams across global commodity transactions.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, charterparties, bills of lading, letters of credit and related documentation.
- Manage disputes, arbitration and litigation relating to international commodity trading and shipping.
- Handle cargo claims, charterparty disputes and insurance matters in collaboration with operations teams.
- Advise on legal, compliance and corporate governance matters across the business.
- Support corporate projects including financing, M&A, joint ventures and commercial initiatives.
- Train traders, operators and commercial teams on contracts, legal risks and best practices.
- 3–7 years' legal experience in commodities, shipping or international trade.
- Experience with GAFTA, FOSFA, charterparties and international disputes is highly desirable.
- Fluent English required; additional European languages are an advantage.
