We're looking for a Murex Front Office Application Manager to join our team onsite in Lausanne. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day stability and production support of a critical trading platform, ensuring reliability across trade capture, valuation and risk processes throughout the trading day and end-of-day cycle. This includes monitoring, incident resolution and proactive engagement with business users to maintain smooth front-office operations in a high-demand environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate trade capture, valuation, market data and end-of-day batch processes
- Serve as the primary escalation point for business users on system issues and data discrepancies
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across platform components and interfaces
- Own the front-office support queue, manage SLAs and coordinate activities with L2/L3 teams and vendors
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring problems
- Support end-of-day, month-end and reporting processes for accurate and timely delivery
- Maintain clear documentation, escalation procedures and on-call readiness
- Assist in testing and deployment readiness for patches, upgrades and vendor releases
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in application support or operations within a trading platform environment (Murex MX.3 or similar)
- Hands-on knowledge of front-office modules, trade lifecycle and risk-related functionality
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with platform datamart structures
- Understanding of system architecture, integrations, market data workflows and batch scheduling
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and basic scripting (Shell, Python)
- Experience with incident, problem and change management (ITIL preferred)
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Fluent in English, German or French is a plus
