Join us as a Cloud & AI Solution Engineer focused on Azure Infrastructure specifically for SAP (RISE) for commercial and Public Sector customers at Microsoft. In this technical sales role (ie Presales engineer), you will help customers design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures that support their SAP modernization goals. You will guide organizations through migration, modernization, and optimization strategies related to SAP — translating technical capabilities into significant business outcomes. You will collaborate across teams to deliver impactful solutions that enhance agility, reduce costs, and unlock value. As a Cloud & AI Solution Engineer for the Azure Platform focusing primarily on our customers' SAP transformation, you will play a key role in helping customers modernize their SAP related infrastructure and applications and unlock the full value of Microsoft's cloud. You will work directly with technical and business stakeholders and closely with SAP and joint partners. You bring deep expertise in migrating core workloads - including SAP —to Azure and are familiar how the Microsoft cloud can support our customers' SAP transformation from a security perspective to the Joule / CoPilot integration. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.ResponsibilitiesGet Technical win for the portfolio of Cloud services you are in charge of.Create and maintain the right tension to ensure velocity of project decision, delivery & implementation by customers & partnersDrive technical sales by using technical demos, proofs of concept, and technical architecture accelerators to influence solution design and enable deployments.Lead architecture sessions and technical workshops to accelerate Azure adoption.Build trusted relationships with platforms leads to co-design secure, scalable solutions.Resolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering and sharing customer insights.Maintain expertise in cloud migration, resiliency, security, and compliance.Deepen knowledge of enterprise apps, especially SAPRepresent Microsoft in customer forums and technical communities through thought leadership. QualificationsRequired/ Minimum Qualifications:Technical pre-sales or technical consulting experienceOR Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience Experience in SAP technology and cloud infrastructure, Experience designing or selling solutions involving hybrid networking, secure connectivity, or network performance optimization in enterprise environments.This role requires collaboration with local customers, therefore fluency in German is required.This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
