Your Key Responsibilities. - Designing data analytics solutions by utilizing the data technology stack with Big Data / cloud techniques - Conducting solution architecture review/audit, calculating and presenting ROI - Creating and presenting solution architecture documents with deep technical details to customer and implementation teams - Participating in the full cycle of “pre-sale” activities to prepare technical proposals on customer requests: collaborating with Sales to generate leads, promoting the practice and have direct communications with customers - Leading implementation of the solutions from established project requirements and goals to solution "go-live" - Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, driving cutting edge technologies and implementing them to derive value to our customers - Growing the practice’s and own's expertise by gathering and monitoring available project experience across other geographies - Leading our global delivery teams across the various locations to ensure proper specification and deliverability of the solution and manage the according review and approval process - Assisting Project Managers by providing inputs on architecture/technical activities, detail the technical activities and help manage the work packages with the consultants What we expect from you. - Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field - 10+ ‘hands-on’ experience as a Big Data Architect with a solid design AND development background with Java, Scala, or Python - Architecture experience and practice in some of the following areas: - Data Management - Data Storage - Data Visualization - Disaster Recovery - Integration - Operation - Security - Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) in both implementation as well as sales lifecycle (pitching, solutioning, brainstorming and implementing) - Experience in designing and developing high-volume mission critical transactional data integration solutions - Solid experience in continuous delivery tools and technologies, containers and resource management systems - Able to lead Big Data initiatives on enterprise level and to architecture customer business transformations with data technologies - Demonstrated ability to gain credibility and build relationships with all levels in an organization, from technical experts to senior executives - Strong communication skills, including customer facing, pre-sales activities and team coordination - Fluent English NICE TO HAVE - Experience and hands-on with TB & PB scale analytics platform, understanding and theoretical knowledge for developing and building such kind of platforms - Big Data stack: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Flume, Sqoop, Zookeper - Background in traditional data warehouse and business intelligence stacks (ETL, MPP Databases, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects) What you can expect.
