We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in our enterprise-wide Core Banking replacement programme—a strategic initiative comprising 25 interdependent projects spanning end-to-end product value chains across multiple technology platforms, including Temenos Transact and satellite systems. As a Project Lead within this transformation, you will be responsible for driving delivery excellence across a portfolio of critical developments, ensuring seamless integration, robust governance, and successful adoption across global business units.YOUR CHALLENGELead a development cluster encompassing multiple integrated applications, overseeing full lifecycle execution from inception to rolloutDevelop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, resource allocation, risk assessments, and stakeholder communicationsEstablish and manage high-performing, cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations, fostering collaboration and accountabilityDrive planning, coordination, and execution of implementation, system integration testing, UAT, and production deployment activitiesMonitor project performance continuously tracking progress, controlling costs, assuring quality, and proactively managing risks and changesServe as the primary liaison between project teams, programme management office (PMO), business stakeholders, IT departments, and external vendors/partnersChair and facilitate regular status reviews, steering committee meetings, and Change Control Board sessions to ensure transparency and decision-making efficiencyAlign project deliverables with overarching business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise IT architecture standardsManage stakeholder expectations effectively, balancing competing demands in a fast-paced, evolving environmentYOUR PROFILEBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related disciplineMinimum of 8 years' experience in managing complex IT programmes, ideally within private banking or financial services institutionsDemonstrated success in leading medium to large-scale digital transformation or core system modernisation initiativesMastery of both traditional (Waterfall) and agile project management methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), with flexibility to apply hybrid approachesProficient in using project and portfolio management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and the broader Microsoft Office suiteFormal certifications strongly preferred: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM/PSM), CSP, or SAFe AgilistExceptional communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken); German or Spanish language skills are advantageousProven leadership abilities with strong organisational acumen, emotional intelligence, and team motivation capabilitiesHigh personal ownership, resilience under pressure, and adaptability in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environmentsUnwavering commitment to integrity, operational excellence, and client-centric valuesA collaborative, hands-on professional with a proactive mindset and a strong "can-do" attitudeWe are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
