This position will focus on the critical aspects of triaging and relaying direct feedback from field operations, as well as designing, implementing and executing robotic system test plans, ensuring we deliver the best possible experience for our customers.What You'll Be DoingDesign, execute, and maintain both internal and external test plans to validate and optimize robotic systems and their integration in real-world field conditionsIdentify, document, and prioritize bugs or issues discovered in the field, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve them promptlyMonitor quality standards across various operational phases, from development to deployment and maintenance of robotic systemsCollaborate closely with product managers, and engineers to align testing strategies with business goals and industry standardsContinuously improve testing processes to drive quality, efficiency, and scalability within the field operations of robotic systemsWhat You Must Have3+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on robotics, field operations, or regulatory complianceExperience developing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and working cross-functionally to resolve themFamiliarity with field deployments of robotic systems, including outdoor environments and real-world operational conditionsStrong understanding of hardware-software integration and how QA applies to real-world robotic systemsFamiliarity with testing and debugging robotic hardware in field environmentsGet some bonus pointsBackground in robotics or autonomous driving, with expertise across the full stack—encompassing sensors, perception, mapping, localization, navigation, control, and deep learning algorithmsAbility to read modern C++ and PythonKnowledge of the autonomous vehicle, last-mile delivery, or similar industriesExperience with automation tools for QA and testing processesRIVR is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that values every perspective.
