As pioneers and innovators in the cannabis industry, we invite you to join our team and explore the world of cannabis at its finest.Your RoleWe are seeking a Finance Controller to oversee and manage our financial operations in a standalone capacity, taking over the day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvements. This role will report to the CFO.Key responsibilitiesAccounting & BookkeepingManage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliationsMaintain accurate and timely financial records in OdooPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with Swiss GAAP (OR)Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedulesHandle VAT accounting and prepare periodic VAT returnsFinancial Reporting & ControllingPrepare financial statements and support group reporting requirementsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisSupport cost accounting and inventory accounting processesConduct ad-hoc financial analyses and support management decisionsAudit & CompliancePrepare documentation for external audits and tax reviewsEnsure compliance with Swiss accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policiesHelp implement process improvements and internal controlsCross-Functional CollaborationWork with operations, sales, and logistics teams to ensure accurate financial dataSupport ERP improvements and automation initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3+ years of experience in accounting (preferably in Switzerland or in international companies)Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP (OR) and Swiss VATProficiency in German and English (both required)Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus)Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with inventory accounting, production environments, or FMCG/agricultureFamiliarity with EU VAT or cross-border transactionsExposure to small/mid-size companies or fast-growing environmentsSoft SkillsHigh level of ownership and accountabilityStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCuriosity and readiness to learnReliable team player with strong communication skillsWork ConditionsOnsite work in Breitenbach, Solothurn Canton, Switzerland — accessible by train via Basel and nearby stations in Laufen and Zwingen1-2 days of remote work per week is possible
