Bring your relationships, insights, and edge – and help us grow CM's presence in the CVB region.Shaping Commercial Presence in the CVB RegionWe're looking for a agricultural trading professional to anchor our commercial activities in the Constanța–Varna–Burgas (CVB) region and to help drive Copenhagen Merchants (CM) continued growth from our Geneva office.It's a role with real ownership and responsibility, both for our presence in the region and for the continued development of the Geneva team.You'll be working at the crossroads between origin, destination, and freight. With grains as your main cargo and the CM network at your back, you'll be part of a dynamic brokerage environment where collaboration, autonomy, and commercial sharpness go hand in handPutting Your CVB Expertise to WorkYou'll take lead on strengthening and expanding CM's commercial footprint in the CVB region combining market insights, relationships, and execution.Your day-to-day will include:Structuring and closing trades across grains (wheat, barley, corn) and related commodities Managing and developing relationships with counterparties in Romania, Bulgaria, and beyond Following and interpreting market movements, freight dynamics, and S&D developments Collaborating with colleagues across CM's network, including freight, execution, and other brokers Contributing to CM Navigator and our broader commercial intelligence efforts Sharing knowledge, energy, and accountability with the rest of the Geneva teamYou'll work closely with both clients and colleagues, combining independence with teamwork and always with a shared focus on delivering value, not just volume.Who You AreYou're a seasoned agricultural trading professional with a solid background in either brokerage, trading, execution, or other related areas. You have a strong understanding of the CVB region and the relationships to match. You combine 'grit', commercial sharpness with integrity, and you know that brokerage is just as much about trust and timing as it is about price.We imagine you bring:A track record of successful brokerage in grains or related commodities Strong knowledge of the Romanian and Bulgarian markets (and ideally beyond) An eye for opportunity and the drive to act on it A collaborative mindset, but comfortable working independently Fluency in English – additional languages are a plusMore than anything, you know what it means to create real value in an international brokerage setup.
