Your RoleAs Fixed Income Credit Trader - Emerging Markets at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are an ambitious individual with a proven track record of P&L generation in the field of credit trading related to emerging markets, who is seeking to contribute to the bank's success and provide firm and reliable liquidity to the bank's institutional and private client network. We are looking for an experienced credit trader with a strong vision and strategy on how to optimize the bank's flow. The ideal candidate shares our values of strong client focus, dedication and has an entrepreneurial mindset.Your ResponsibilitiesContribute P&L to the FI bond value chainProvide liquidity to other banks and to the client base of the bank with a flow-driven trading approachActively monitor and manage risk of the trading bookMaintain close collaboration with Sales and Advisory teams of the bank as well as with core clientsMonitor market developments closely and react quickly to changesProactively generate and implement trading ideas and discuss them with internal stakeholders as well as with clients of the bankHelp expanding the bank's client base in core regions across Europe and AsiaAdhering to all the relevant rules & regulations as well as internal guidelines/directives and be up to date with all the relevant regulatory developments in the trading areaYour ProfileMaster's degree in economics or finance or a comparable education5-10 years of practical experience in the field of emerging markets credit trading with a bulge bracket investment bankExcellent Microsoft Office skillsExperience with Order Management SystemsExperience with VBA/Phyton programming is a plusStrong analytical and problem solving skillsSuccessful track record in trading with portable strategy of P&L generationHands-on mentality and willingness to take responsibilityCapability to work independently and ability to work under pressureDedicated, focused, self-motivated, operates well in a challenging environmentFluency in English; fluency in German is a plusYour BenefitsEntrepreneurial spirit in a family owned bankCentral city office locations across SwitzerlandAbove average insurance coverage fully borne by the bankContribution to health insurance and meal allowanceGlobal growth strategy and stable environmentCompetitive offering
