If you're passionate about pushing boundaries, with expertise in vision-language models, multi-modal data, agentic AI, and representation learning, join us to architect the future.Engineering Manager - Computer Vision (Spatial AI) Responsibilities:Develop and implement technical strategies to research and develop novel Spatial AI based-experiences, including production roadmap different core CV/ML capabilities from data curation, experiment design, evaluation, and production validationDrive efficiency gains on training and deployment of multi-modal foundation models through novel techniques and core infrastructure buildingCommunicate, collaborate, and build relationships with clients and peer teams to facilitate cross-functional projectsRemain up-to-date on ongoing research and software development activities in the industry, work through technical challenges, and be involved in design decisionsLead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutionsFoster a work environment of continuous learning, growth, and improvementMinimum Qualifications:12+ years, or PhD + 8 years, of software engineering work experience, including technical managementBS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience2+ years of managing managers, 5+ years of hands-on supporting and leading teams of research scientists and software engineersDemonstrated experience recruiting, and building, structuring, leading technical organizations, including performance managementExperience with cross functional collaboration with other teams including non-engineering functionsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in managing teams productizing Computer Vision or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning technologies from conception to endTechnical experience in leading teams/projects in one or more of the technical domains of machine perception (i.e., machine vision, deep learning, sensors and robotics)Experience in leading teams interfacing with Hardware (sensors, silicon) teams in setting requirements and product tradeoffsExperience managing joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping projectsMS, PhD, or work experience in a related field of Computer Vision, or AI/Machine Learning in domains related to 3D vision (e.g. SLAM, SfM), perception ML models (e.g. segmentation, depth), or Vision Language ModelsAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
