Learn more atThe RoleWe are looking for an entrepreneurial and consultativeBusiness Development Managerto join our growing team in Switzerland.You will be responsible for:Developing and nurturinglong-term relationshipswith senior decision-makers (QA, CQV, Engineering, Procurement, CAPEX leaders) at top Pharma, Biotech, and Medtech companies.Driving thefull sales cycle: from prospecting and needs discovery to tailored proposals, tender management, and closing.Generating immediate business throughlabor leasingandproject-based consulting opportunities (SOW, work packages).Growing existing accounts while continuously hunting fornew opportunitiesin the Swiss Life Sciences ecosystem.Acting as a trusted advisor, not just selling consultants, butco-creating tailored solutionswith our clients.Collaborating closely with consultants, project managers, and directors to ensure client satisfaction and successful deliveryThis is a highly visible role that directly contributestoGXP Consulting's growth and reputationin Switzerland.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and executeago-to-market strategyin Life Sciences consulting.Identify and qualify leads (hunting & farming) via LinkedIn, conferences, fairs, and your network.Develop tailored value propositions and commercial offers forlabor leasing and SOW-based engagements.Manage tenders, RFPs, and close deals.Onboard consultants, follow up during missions, and ensure smooth integration.Maintain precise and up-to-date CRM pipeline tracking.Lead account reviews and prepare management reports.Your ProfileExperience & Knowledge≥ 4 years' experience inconsulting sales or business development, ideally in Life Sciences in Switzerland.Proven track record inselling services, includingresource augmentation (labor leasing) and project-based consulting (SOW, work packages).Proven track recordinkey account managementandnew business development.Familiarity with Life Sciences technical areas: QA, QC, CQV, CSV, Engineering, Regulatory.Network with decision-makers in Swiss pharma, Biotech, and Medtech is a strong plus.Exposure to consultant recruitment and team supervision is highly valued.Sales Approach & PersonalityConsultative & relationship-driven: listens, tailors solutions, builds trust across long cycles.Hunter & farmerbalance: comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and account growth.Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and resilient, thrives in autonomy while being a strong team player.Curious, detail-oriented, and structured, able to manage priorities and multiple stakeholders.Excellent communicator, able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.Skills & ToolsProficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and ATS.Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter, email prospecting, and Office 365.Strong presentation and storytelling abilities, able to deliver persuasive client meetings, webinars, and pitches.Fluent inGerman (C1 minimum, Swiss German preferred)and English; French is a plus.Mobility across Switzerland.What we offerThe opportunity toshape the growthof a Swiss specialist consulting firm.Acredible, high-value offeringin Life Sciences, competing head-to-head with large consultancies but with more agility and client intimacy.A supportive, expert-driven team culture rooted inExcellence, Trust, and Commitment.Professional development and growth opportunities as we expand our presence across Switzerland.If you are aconsultativesalespersonwho wants to make a real impact in Life Sciences, not just sell services, but help clients deliver products that improve patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now and help us take GXP Consulting Switzerland to the next level
