Do you want to join this mission and be part of our young and innovative Power Management Team?If yes, this is your opportunity: we are looking for a Battery Engineer to join our R&D Power Management team. In this role, you will drive the development, system integration, and verification of Lithium-ion (Li-ion) and solid state batteries for hearing instruments. You will work hands-on in the battery laboratory, conduct experiments, analyze test data, and contribute to advanced battery modeling and charging strategy optimization. You will be part of product development projects for leading edge hearing devices.This position provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of electrochemistry, modeling, power management, and hardware testing.More about the roleAssess different charging strategies, including ageing effects of Li-ion batteries used in hearing instruments applications Analyze test data and contribute to the development and refinement of battery lifetime prediction modelsPerform electrochemical characterization, and (optional) post-mortem analysisPrepare, execute, and analyze cell performance and verification tests (e.g. verification and validation test)Support and expand laboratory tools (e.g. impedance analyzer)Develop, debug, and improve MATLAB/Python scripts for data processing, automation, and reportingMaintain and calibrate battery test systems and ensure stable operation of lab equipmentScout and explore new battery technologies for future product generationsDocument results, prepare reports, and support R&D activitiesMore about youBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related fieldStrong interest in Li-ion and solid state batteries, electrochemistry, and power managementSkilled in MATLAB and Python programming (required)Practical, hands-on attitude and ability to work on-site in a laboratory settingIndependent, structured, and reliable work styleStrong communication skills and team orientationGood spoken and written English skillsWhat We OfferReal-world experience in advanced battery R&DExposure to industry-grade test systems and analytical toolsOpportunity to contribute to meaningful products improving people's livesA collaborative environment with mentoring from skilled engineersTalent Acquisition Partner, is looking forward to receiving your complete application via our online job application platform.For this vacancy only direct applications will be considered.
