Championing a collaborative, supportive and flexible work environment empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential.Job DescriptionThis is a fantastic opportunity to join Avaloq in a Senior Project Manager role, where you will get the opportunity to manage projects within our global CTO organization, supporting the build and roll-out of new product functionalities or components, to our market-leading clients.As a key member of our Project Delivery organization, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans (regulatory and/ or innovation projects), including timelines and budgets, communicating with internal stakeholders (kernel development teams), Regional stakeholders, clients, etc.Manage Scope, Risks, Issues, and Quality along the entire lifecycle and in alignment with Top Management / C-suite executivesDevelop mitigation strategies to treat risks and resolve issues as they ariseEffectively communicate and provide weekly project status, progress, and potential roadblocks to Top Management / C-suite executivesBridge the gap between product vision and delivery-oriented approach – ensuring deadlines are met according to the project timelineLead cross-divisions / cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives and milestonesOversee project budgets, ensuring Estimate To Complete (ETC) are constantly reviewed according to the project progressConduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learnedMentor and develop junior project managers and team membersQualifications8-10 years of Project Management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering complex cross-functional projects, at a senior level, within IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and/or BPaaS contextsProven track record of delivering results in a complex international and diverse environmentStrong knowledge of different project management methodologies (e.g.: Waterfall, Agile, etc.) and software (e.g.: Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.)Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, combined with natural ability to manage stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated ability to manage risks and develop effective treatment strategiesStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong experience managing end-to end execution of complex programs that span multiple and cross-functional teams through software project lifecycleExceptional leadership and team motivation skillsAptitude to discuss technical details with developers and drive consensus among all stakeholdersFluency in English and GermanIt would be a significant bonus if you have:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalentExperience in leading RFI&RFP processes, vendor negotiation, contracting, hiring, and managing third partiesRelevant exposure to financial services industry Additional InformationWe realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
