If you're ready to drive innovation, ensure architectural excellence, and support critical energy operations, we'd love to hear from youMinimum RequirementsEnterprise Architect – Core Applications & UtilitiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.PLUS ten (10+) years of experience in enterprise application architecture, with a focus on utilities or energy sector solutions.Deep expertise in utility core applications like EMS, CC&B, ADMS, MDMS, Work Management Systems, and ERP.Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and cloud adoption strategiesPreferred Special Skills, Knowledge or QualificationsUses/integrates in-depth technical knowledge across one or more divisional areas or systems to improve technology planning and developmentRequires mastery level knowledge of technical area typically obtained through advanced education and experienceAbility to develop information systems to deliver the business strategy; analyze emerging technologies and make appropriate recommendations; implement a process-based approach to meeting organizational goals; assess a broad range of information solutions and products; develop architecture designs Major Accountabilities1) Performs the most complex duties of the technical architecture positions and is thought of as an expert in solving architecture issues within and outside the organization2) Leads the technical and business discussions relative to future enterprise direction3) Defines, implements, and enforces an overall architecture practice, principles and standards4) Leads the creation of EA governing principles5) Creates, evaluates and implements plans and design proposals for high impact IT solutions and their use involving leading edge technologies and methods considering key factors such as their long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, technical limitations, and criticality6) Leads or contributes to designs applied to all aspects of business systems and/or infrastructure prototypes and eventual implementation7) Approves modification of the enterprise architecture to address project needs8) Leads and drives research of emerging technologies, market trends, and industry and provides recommendations to ensure continued alignment with business9) Provides technical leadership and is responsible for establishing the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design, and implementation approaches for the company's application systems and/or infrastructure10) Participates in industry/knowledge reference groups11) Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the company within area of expertise12) Leads sub-division teams in complex technical projects13) Manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-divisional teamsExport Compliance / EEO StatementThis position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy's Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, 'U.S. Export Control Laws').
